Paris, the city of love.

Bonjour,

I thought it was completely necessary to blog about one of my favourite trips ever. Last week I was whisked away to Paris by my amazing boyfriend as a present for my 21st birthday.  We went for two nights and seen as much sites as we could.

So I shall start with my favourite, the Eiffel Tower.

(typical tourist Eiffel Tower photo, hehe)

 Oh and the views!!

The Eiffel Tower was breathtaking, its just as amazing as you always imagine. We went right to the top and took in the beautiful sites of Paris, you can see the whole of Paris. After returning back to the ground we decided to take a picnic on the grass surrounding the Eiffel Tower and we sat in the sun taking in the view. It was such a lovely day.

We spent the rest of our time visiting the Louvre, Love Lock bridge, Notre Dame and other tourist areas. Paris has so much to see and the famous tourist destination including the Eiffel Tower and Louvre as definitely worth taking a trip to.

Of course I have never felt as loved up as we did in Paris especially sat by the Eiffel Tower with our picnic, it really is a romantic city with a lovely feel to.

I'd love to hear of any other blog posts of a time in Paris, please leave your links below!

May, my favourite month of the year.

Good Afternoon,
Once again May has been a fantastic month, possibly one of the best months of the year.
In the space of a month I have been a festival goer, turned 21 and held a party and was whisked away to Paris (check out my next blog post for my amazing Paris trip). A whole lotta happiness in one sentence.

Swingamajig
To start of the month with a bang, myself and friends attended Swingamajig Festival in Birmingham, an electric-swing music festival. Having had such a great time last year with lots of alcohol, dancing and gypsy mayhem fun it was a no-brainer to attend this year.
Below I wore Missguided flares, I fell in love with these flares online when I seen they were one of my favourite colours.

Swingamajig was crazy and so much fun with the event organisers increasing their stages this year and increasing the size of the venue. One of my favourite acts of the evening was Ed Solo, he went off!

21st Party

(decoration of part of the garden)
Once I had recovered from Swingamajig the party planning started for my 21st. On the 19th of May I held a party at my home in Wales, I decided to do it fairytale themed in which I could decorate the garden and everybody would have fun dressing up.

I decided to go as Poison Ivy, I wanted to hand make my costume. As seen below I started with a corset and stuck fake ivy leaves on with a glue gun.

I had roughly 60 guests at the party including family members and friends. I had the best birthday I could ask for, all my closest friends and family were there to enjoy my day with me.
My dad performed in his band, with a surprise three songs which included the spice girls (childhood memories), wonderwall and yellow (favourite songs) were performed.
After the band ended my two friends set up their decks and DJ'ed for the rest of the evening.

From turning 21 it has made me extremely grateful for life and the people I have by my side. I feel extremely lucky to have so many dear friends and family that care about me.
To top off an already epic birthday my family all chipped in and bought me a Mini Cooper, how lucky am I?!

So has anybody else been festival goers this month? I'd love to know a bit about different festivals! I am always on the look out for a new festival!

Modelling for Lotties Bespoke Vintage

Good Evening Wonderful Bloggers,

Yesterday I had lots of fun modelling for a gorgeous vintage shop named Lotties Bespoke Vintage, you can catch her online page here;
https://www.facebook.com/LottiesBespokeVintage?fref=ts

She has a range of men's and women's vintage clothing varying from Levi jeans to bohemian trousers. The shoot yesterday was based mainly on a 1950's theme which personally I love. The bright colours, the stripes and patterns, the big hair and the bold make-up, what's not to love?!

Above we modelled the beautiful, loose, summery, midi skirts, they look so fun dressed with up with pair of heels. (I felt like a real life lollipop hehe).

Personally, this was one of my favourite items to model. The dress is a Designer Betty Barclay Vintage Maxi Dress. As well as the beautifully corset style front, the colour of the dress is stunning and the buttons down the front give it a unique touch.

On the left, Charlotte modelled a beautiful 1970's style maxi dress, the pattern is ace and the red colouring is great for summer.

How hot is this real leather skirt? Jeeze I fell in love with it.
This skirt looked great teamed up with a tied up shirt and heels.

Finally, these swing skirts just look fantastic, the colouring of the skirts are beautiful designed and the lengths are very flattering to wear with a pair of heels.

I had so much fun shooting for this style of clothing and for such a lovely young lady, can't wait for the next shoot which will hopefully be out in the open in the sunshine.

Check out more photos and looks over at her page; https://www.facebook.com/LottiesBespokeVintage?fref=ts
What do you think of these looks?

Mane and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner.

Jolly Good Thursday evening,

I have found a spare 10 minutes out of my pile of university work to blog about the talked-up Mane and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner.

So it looks like this;
I have started using this only two weeks ago so I cannot yet upload the before and after pictures. I will be doing so in roughly a months time.

You can get this product for £6 on Amazon for both the shampoo and conditioner.

So my results two weeks on;

Immediate change?
YES,  THICKNESS; Anybody who knows me well knows that I have weak and thin hair. Honestly its a nightmare, I am always on the lookout for a hair product to make my hair look thicker. I was amazed to find that by after the first use of this combo product my hair felt thicker and looked thicker.
YES, SHINE; As I am not a natural blonde my hair has to take lots of damage through colouring so I do struggle to get the shine I would like. This product has given my hair more shine and softness than any other product on the market which I have used.

So to wrap it up; two weeks on from using this product my hair is looking thicker than any other product I have tried on my hair and it is feeling more and more healthier as the weeks have gone on. It has given it a more natural soft oil touch rather than the coarse, overly used products touch which I normally have.

I will continue to use this product and I shall post another review up in a months time with pictures.

I would love to hear any other reviews of this product?

Happy Valentines Day

L O V E, LOVE, love

As a huge lover of Valentines Day I thought I'd share with you my lovely experience this year.

I was woken up with a beautiful red rose, a card, pancakes with Nutella (the best breakfast in the world) and two surprise presents.

I got whisked away to Alton Towers Spa which is only a 30 minute drive from where I live at University.

Boy did good, very good!
As well as a relaxing couple of hours in saunas, foot baths, steam rooms and quiet rooms, I was treated to my first ever Mud Bath experience!

Oh my gosh, I could not recommend it enough. So of course the obvious benefit is it makes your skin feel softer than a baby's bottom but it was so much fun, especially for couples. We had our own private room for 50 minutes to play around with the mud.

I am currently waiting on my second surprise which is being brought over tonight. I am so excited to see it, he's hinted that it could be quite artistic as he knows I am a fan of being creative.

I would love to hear any other valentines stories as I am a sucker for romance <3

3D Fiber Lash Mascara

Good Evening Bloggers,

So far I am having a really productive week organising my final year event at university. Its surprising how emailing, making phone calls and meetings take so much of your time up, all exciting stuff though.

Anyhow, I am always one to jump onto the bangwagon of trying new products, literally any product makeup, skin and hair. So last week I decided to try out the 3D fiber mascara which looks like this;

It came in this box which is handy to keep both items together in your makeup back. So first of all you apply the gel mascara which is the taller item. It goes on just like normal mascara and feels like normal mascara. Following the gel you apply the fiber mascara which is the smaller item, I find you have to apply this carefully as the fibers may fall off the brush if put on heavy handed.

When the product is first applied it is really impressive, I seen a huge difference in my lashes and was really impressed with the results. HOWEVER, I went out for tea after applying this product and roughly 30 minutes after application the fibers had fallen off and made a mess down my face and mainly underneath my eyes. I have tried the product since in hope it would not happen again but it has happened every time since that I have applied.

Overall i have been really disappointing with the product and do not see what the fuss is all about.

I'd love to know your views?

Lottie's bespoke vintage.

Good morning bloggers.
Last week I had lots of fun modelling for a vintage clothing company called Lotties Bespoke Vintage. At the moment their online website is currently being tweaked and beautified.

The shop is based in Llangollen a town in North Wales, a 30 minute drive from Chester.
They specialise in vintage clothing and the lovely owner Charlotte also specialises in creating her own items of clothing/accessories. She is extremely talented.

All these items of clothing will be going live on her website very soon and they are also in the process of Asos Marketplace.

What do you guys think of some of the items I've modelled here?
